I am now able to download windows 10 , but it keeps asking me for the product key doing setup. I am doing the free upgrade from windows7 home premium. I am unable to get any futher than set up without a product key. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. These numbers will get you through the install, but not the activation. They've been blocked by the activation server. Although I upgraded a fully activated copy of Win8, those numbers are not accepted either. This is a big waste of time, and the automatic upgrade you mention on activated machines never happened at least for my own.
